VALENCIA IS SPECIAL
Living in Valencia
In March 2020, a survey of more than 15,000 expatriate professionals representing 173 nationalities, analyzed 66 cities around the world, ranking Valencia in the first place as the most desirable city to live as a foreign citizen. In addition, according to the latest municipal barometer, 83% of the citizens of Valencia surveyed consider this city as the best city to live in Spain.
So, what is special about Valencia? Valencia is a medium-sized city, with a population close to 800,000 inhabitants, modern and cosmopolitan, which, in addition to being an important business center, especially in the IT world, offers all kinds of cultural and leisure activities.
Its climate, with mild winters and warm summers and an average of over 300 sunny days a year, invites to enjoy life outdoors. This may explain the friendliness and open character, in general, of the people in Valencia. With a wide range of leisure options such as water sports, cycling or running in the Turia river park, the largest urban park in Spain, the interior of the province for hiking, or simply enjoying the beach, in Valencia you will easily find your favourite outdoor activity. But, in addition, the nightlife during the weekends allows you to choose between different possibilities, from a quiet dinner with friends to a disco session throughout the night, always in a safe environment.
Valencia is also known for offering a high quality-cost-of-living ratio. Especially housing is quite affordable in Valencia, compared to other cities in Spain. Our modern office is located in the city center, in the most important commercial area of the city, surrounded by different shopping centers and restaurants, near the train station, as well as several metro and bus connections.
